I noticed yesterday that my Xbox One Wireless controller is causing high CPU in Windows 10 and its causing my PC to completely lock up when I try to play a game - this is new behavior and wasn't doing this last week. I noticed that if I open game controllers in controller panel and test the controller this causes the CPU to spike to 40% (which is one full core). I tried disconnecting the xbox one controller and using my old wireless xbox 360 controller and this does not cause high CPU and my pc does not lock up.

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
